#6: November 12th vs GS Warriors: “KD-Dray heated exchange, Clippers win thriller in OT”

Before the national spotlight was on the Clippers 31-point historic playoff comeback in Game 2 of the First Round in the 2019 NBA Playoffs, there was a game before that, that also involved both teams that also got the media talking.

That game was non-other than the first match-up of the season between the Golden State Warriors and the LA Clippers.

The Warriors played without star guard Stephen Curry and center DeMarcus Cousins (I’m still calling him Boogie).

Tension rose on the Warriors bench at the end of regulation in the 4th as Kevin Durant demanded the ball from Draymond Green so KD could take the last shot, instead this happened.

Green would end up getting suspended by the team for one game as a result of the incident between the two players.

In the game itself however, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell led the way for the Clippers as they each scored 25 points and 23 points respectively.

Seeing the Warriors become dysfunctional and not on the same page as a result of the Clippers made us as fans feel great.

It felt as if an empire was slowly coming down and the Clippers were the team to do it.

Did I forget to mention that Lou Williams played a major factor in OT and buried the Warriors with big time shots?

Well here you go!
