#8: March 8th vs OKC Thunder: “Lou Will goes for 40, hits key shots late in 4th”

Both the Oklahoma City Thunder and the LA Clippers were jockeying for playoff seeding as the regular season was coming soon to a close.

The Thunder were favored to win this one on paper, playing on a back-to-back.

Only one problem; Defending the professional scorer himself in Lou Williams.

Lou Williams was hitting clutch shot after clutch shot in the 4th Quarter, in a tight game where both OKC stars, Paul George and Russell Westbrook, fouled out.

This game was relatively controlled by the Clippers in the first half, until the Thunder rolled out a line-up of all bench players that matched the same energy and physicality as the Clippers bench.

Patrick Beverley’s assignment on this night was defending forward Paul George.

George would end up scoring 15 points, on a 5-16 shooting night.

The following day, Beverley and PG-13 took jabs on each other on Twitter, discussing Beverley’s clamps he put on George.
