#10: March 4th @ LA Lakers: “Pat Bev declares the Clippers as the best team of LA and backs it up”

Heading into this game, Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is not afraid to speak his mind.

He claimed the Clippers as the Best Team of Los Angeles and it was now time to prove it under the purple and gold limelight.

Beverley would take the assignment of guarding Lakers forward LeBron James, and in the first quarter James looked bothered by Beverley’s presence.

The Lakers would be hit with the injury bug (similar to the Clippers 2017-18 season) and be without the likes of guard Lonzo Ball, forward Brandon Ingram, and forward Kyle Kuzma who got injured early in the 4th.

This game was great for Clipper fans to tune into as for all those years it seemed the Lakers would always be the big brother to the team.

But Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell let it be known that there was a new sheriff in town who wouldn’t stand for any of it.
