#1: February 9th @ Celtics: “Clippers storm back down 28 and stun the Celtics in debut of 4 new Clipper players”

The LA Clippers entered this game against Boston with a brand new roster intact after some trade deadline moves made by the front office.

Making their Clipper debuts were Garrett Temple, Ivica Zubac, JaMychal Green and Landry Shamet.

The Clippers looked lost in the first half as a team should look when trying to incorporate 4 new players in the playbook and system.

Normally, a team down 28 would fall flat and roll over. But not this team and these group of gritty and savvy rookies and veterans.

As Kyrie Irving exited the rest of the game in the second half, the Clippers took full advantage and pounced on the Celtics, looking way sharper in the 2nd half.

The player who impressed many that night was Landry Shamet, who hit 3 huge 3-pointers in the 4th Quarter.

After falling to the Lakers their previous game thanks to a Rajon Rondo game-winning jumper, Celtics fans booed the team off the floor after embarrassingly giving up a lead of 28 to this hard nose Clippers bunch.

As Patrick Beverley would say, “One Band, One Sound”, these Clippers or “roaches” had an exceptional season with plenty of fun-filled games that we recapped.
