#3: February 2nd @ Pistons: “Clippers erase 25-point deficit and defeat the Pistons on the road”

Watching this game, I felt that the Clippers straight up looked flat in the first half. They were showing no signs of clicking on offense or defense.

Blake Griffin was dominating on both ends as was Andre Drummond as the Clippers only true centers were Marcin Gortat and Boban Marjanovic.

But that all changed in the second half as the Clippers outscored the Pistons, 64-36.

This comeback was well needed especially after the Pistons and Blake Griffin stole a game in LA, in Blake’s first game back against the Clippers at Staples.

I don’t know what got into Lou Williams in the 2nd half but was he on fire. He ended up with 39 points but he hit big shots in the 4th quarter that silenced the Little Caesars Arena.

Another X-factor was the defense of one Mike Scott, who limited Blake Griffin’s chance inside and outside the paint.

Montrezl Harrell, Pat Bev and SGA also provided the spark the team was looking for in a effort to make this historic comeback for the franchise.
