Denver Does Their Thing

So, I already covered that Denver losing to the Blazers would be helpful. Ideally though, we don’t want Denver to drop too many though. If the Rockets end up going 2-1, Denver just needs to go 2-2 in their final four.

  • Friday, April 5 – vs. Portland Trail Blazers
  • Sunday, April 7 – @ Portland Trail Blazers
  • Tuesday, April 9 – @ Utah Jazz
  • Wednesday, April 10 – vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Winning two of those (ideally, just dropping the Blazers games) keeps them at 54-28, which should hold onto the second seed. Stay ahead of the Rockets. That’s all we can ask for.

Utah Stays Ahead

The last team that really has an impact on us is the Utah Jazz. We honestly just need to stay behind them and let them take the five seed. Assuming we go 1-2 like I listed out earlier, the Jazz would stay right ahead of us. (One of our predicted losses is against them). In case you wanted to see, here are who the Jazz have left to face:

Friday, April 5 – vs. Sacramento Kings

Sunday, April 7 – @ Los Angeles Lakers

Tuesday, April 9 – vs. Denver Nuggets

Wednesday, April 10 – @ LA Clippers
