Milos Teodosic heads home

The NBA experiment has all-but-officially come to an end for Milos Teodosic, and although it might not have turned out like he expected, he still provided the LA Clippers with countless highlight passes and straight-up fun basketball.

But after close to two years in the world’s best basketball organization, Teodosic will likely head back to the EuroLeague and continue his playing career overseas.

A breakup between both parties has been brewing for months now, even since Teodosic fell out of the rotation in mid-December. On Friday, he was waived in order to make room for the Muscala deal to go through.

The 31-year-old averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 assists for his NBA and LA Clippers career, and impressed with his three-point shot. It was ultimately his lack of defensive ability that made him unplayable in most situations.

The move capped off a very active deadline for the Clippers, a team that will look very different come Saturday’s meeting with the Boston Celtics. All players that LA acquired should be able to suit up for their new team (with the exception of those injured).

dark. Next. After deadline moves, it's clear LA has eyes on summer

The LA Clippers will play the rest of the season under very different circumstances, and with a very different-looking roster than they began the season with. That being said, it’s hard to argue that they didn’t come away victorious following today’s trade deadline.
