Anthony Davis has been on the trading block for some time now, with the Lakers being his main suitor. With that said, what could the LA Clippers offer the Pelicans for the 25-year old superstar?

The likelihood of Anthony Davis being a New Orleans Pelican by next season is very slim, with his impending trade request a few weeks ago spiraling teams in a frenzy of what they could offer New Orleans for the 25-year old phenom out of Kentucky.

The Lakers have presented themselves as Davis’ new home, offering a multitude of young players along with draft assets. Per Adrian Wojnarowski,

"“Pels are waiting on Lakers to overwhelm them w/ an historic haul of picks. To Nola, that means Lakers offering 4 first-round and second-round picks as part of a Davis package. Pels want to be compensated – perhaps even overcompensated – to even consider a deal with LA now.”"

Reports have stated that the Lakers are becoming “pessimistic” with New Orleans management and their willingness to move Davis before Thursday deadline.

The Celtics have also been rumored to be his next destination for some time, but Boston would have to relieve Kyrie Irving of his services before they could pursue Davis, which likely won’t happen until July 1.

After all of the initial Davis news, Woj had this to say about other teams who could be interested in Davis.

With that said, the likelihood that the Clippers pursue Davis is very slim, with much of the teams focus being towards the offseason, with Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard in mind.

The Clippers do have assets and here is what they could offer the Pelicans before deadline day to sideswipe the Lakers, Boston and potentially Milwaukee.
