The LA Clippers return home after going 3-1 to take on the Sacramento Kings in an early afternoon divisional battle for the third time this year.

The LA Clippers return home finally after going 3-1 on their road trip. Today, in an early afternoon match-up, they will face their divisional rival, the Sacramento Kings, for the third time this season.

Unfortunately, the team will still be without Danilo Gallinari, who is still suffering from back spasms. He may be close to returning, but isn’t there just yet. The same can be said from Luc Mbah a Moute, who still has no timetable for a return.

The Clippers have won both of their games this season at Sacramento. The first was in November in Sacramento, where the Clips won 133-121. The second came in LA, with the Clips outscoring Sacramento 127-118.

Both teams are still in the playoff hunt in the highly contested Western Conference. Currently, LA sits at 8th place while Sacramento is in 10th on the outside looking in. The Clips need to get a win today to help keep them inside the playoff picture.

With Gallinari still out, another big game will be needed out of Tobias Harris. The All-Star candidate is averaging 21.4 points per game over his last ten games. In Friday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, he scored 29 points while shooting 66.7% from the field.

Harris scored 28 points against the Kings in their first match-up, but only 17 in the second. The team will need something similar to the first performance if they want the win.

Another big game for Lou Williams would also be great. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year dropped 31 points on Friday in route to his first career triple-double.

For the Kings, Buddy Hield has been impressive. He leads the team in scoring with 20.3 points per game. Avery Bradley will likely draw the assignment against him. De’Aaron Fox has also been solid this season. The young guard has been extremely aggressive and, along with Hield, has impressed enough to be added to All-Star Weekend.

The game tips off shortly at 12:30 PST, so make sure to tune in and follow along with us on Twitter! And as always, check back tomorrow for your post-game coverage!
