Tobias Harris of the LA Clippers deserves to be an All-Star

Tobias Harris of the LA Clippers deserves to be nominated to his first All-Star appearance this season.

With NBA All-Star voting opening up, LA Clippers fans should really push for Tobias Harris to make his first appearance in the All-Star Game this coming February.

Voting opened up on Christmas Day and fans have a variety of ways to cast their ballots. Since the NBA partnered with Google this season, the easiest way to vote for your favorite player is to Google their name and cast your vote. Here’s the full list of ways to cast your votes.

Now, before you get click happy and cast your ballot today (You can cast 10 unique votes per day until January 21), consider putting Tobias Harris on your ballot.

The 26-year-old forward is in the midst of the best season of his career and has already been recognized by the league, winning Western Conference Player of the Month for October and November.

He is putting up career-high in points (21.6 per game) while knocking down 42.4% of his shots from deep on 4.8 attempts per game, which are both also career-highs. While the team is often labeled as lacking a superstar, Harris is proving himself very worthy and will be a sought after commodity.

Despite improving every year, Harris has not yet made the All-Star team. This year will be his toughest yet thanks to the tough competition in the Western Conference. With players like Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant and LeBron James likely earning many fan votes for the front court position, it will be tough, if not impossible, for Harris to make the starting lineup.

This doesn’t mean that fans should not get out and vote though. NBA coaches do decide the reserves, so fans being vocal about getting him in the game could go a long way.
