Rapid Fire

I’ll now knock out a few questions that I don’t have a ton to say about so they can all be condensed onto one slide. You are welcome readers.

I think the chances are very high. Landing both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard are a pipe dream and I can’t envision a world where it actually happens. Call me a cynic, but I’d rather have a realistic dream of just getting one.

Tobias Harris is a very serviceable number two guy and a borderline All-Star. Bringing in someone like KD or Kawhi and keeping him very much puts us right in the conversation for championship contention.

I don’t think he’ll get heavy minutes this season, but I can see him working his way into the rotation if and when Avery is traded. Jerome has to get healthy first, but it would behoove the team to get him minutes sooner rather than later so he can start to get more of a feel for NBA basketball.

Yeah. Let’s fire the guy who just won Coach of the Month. Stop it guys. Doc has proved through all of last season and the beginning of this year that he is still a very capable coach. Just because you aren’t agreeing with his lineups or sit there and scream “MOAR BOBAN” doesn’t mean the man needs to be let go already.

We aren’t. It’s just a very harsh regression to the mean happening right now. Like I said earlier, the team’s true level is somewhere in between what we saw the past few games and the team that was sitting atop the Western Conference. The team will bounce back (probably not next game in Oklahoma City though) so just hang in there Clipper Nation.
