The LA Clippers continue their road trip as they set their sights on Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies.

A clutch performance at the free throw line saw the last match-up between the LA Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies lead to a thrilling OT finish. Clippers guard Avery Bradley iced the game with a defensive stop that saw the Clippers come away with a hard fought win over Memphis at home.

The Grizzlies boast a 13-9 record and are currently 6th in the Western Conference behind their age old pairing of Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. After suffering a grueling loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Memphis based team will be looking to pick up a victory against the Clippers at home.

The Clippers won the only meeting between both teams this year and with a season series that was tied at 2-2 during the 2017-18 season we can hope for a very close match-up between the two teams that faced each other in two seven game series during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons respectively.

The match-up at the center position will see the most action as the Grizzlies boast former All-Star Marc Gasol while the Clippers have an array of players capable at performing above expectations in Montrezl Harrell, Boban Marjanovic and Marcin Gortat. The Clippers have had trouble rebounding in their last couple of games, so keeping Gasol in check will be key.

During the Grizzlies last outing in the Staples Center against the Clippers, Harrell scored 22 points and secured 11 rebounds while Danilo Gallinari drew the defensive assignment on the skilled Spaniard Gasol. The game was close and ended in overtime. With both teams near the top of the conference, expect another grind it out type of outing.

The Clippers currently boast a 16-7 record and are tied with the Denver Nuggets atop the western conference and are looking to carry their momentum forward from their win against the Pelicans on the road.
