With six different players scoring in double digits, the LA Clippers earned yet another win last night in Sacramento versus the Kings.

The LA Clippers stayed atop the Western Conference after earning their 15th win of the season against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.

Although Tobias Harris led the team in scoring with 28 points, this victory was an all-around team effort with five other players also scoring in double digits.

The real surprise on that list is Avery Bradley who had his best scoring night since joining the Clippers mid-way through last season. What was even more impressive was his stroke from three point territory.

Bradley finished the night 4 of 7 from deep and Clippers’ fans didn’t know quite how to react. This probably isn’t something that we can expect from him on a nightly basis, but if he can at least pose a threat from deep, the team’s offense will open up even more.

Close Call

LA was playing on the second night of a back-to-back after defeating the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. With little rest and playing a surprisingly decent Kings team, this could have easily been a schedule loss.

The Clippers came out hot, scoring 42 points in the first quarter but quickly cooled off and allowed the Kings to get right back into the game with their own 42 point quarter in the second. Flashbacks of last week’s loss to the Wizards started, but luckily this time LA was able to find another burst of energy at halftime.

The team came back after the break and scored 62 points in the second half while limiting the Kings to 53. Danilo Gallinari was the main factor here, scoring 12 of his 17 points in the second half including a 7 point run in the last five minutes of the game.

With no “superstar” on the roster, these are the type of wins the Clips will need. For the second night in a row, the bench was not it’s usual productive self. Not one player off the bench finished with a positive plus/minus. Still, the starters’ efforts were enough on this night.
