Center Troubles

In a game where the Wizards started Thomas Bryant (Yeah, I doubt you know who that is), the Clippers had a heap of trouble at the center position.

Marcin Gortat came out seemingly motivated, but quickly got into foul trouble.

Boban Marjanovic only played 3:48 (all in the 4th) and scored no points, grabbed one rebound and was put on a poster by Jeff Green.

Montrezl Harrell was the lone center to produce with 20 points, but he to was in foul trouble most of the time on the court. Harrell actually finished a team worse -11 on the night alongside fellow bench members Lou Williams and Mike Scott.

Trezz’s scoring mainly occurred in the fourth when the comeback was already on.

LA has had trouble with the center position all year. Montrezl Harrell has been a constant bright spot, but there are nights like tonight where his production won’t be enough.

The Clippers likely won’t address this issue during the season, but expect some sort of move to be made to bolster the position next summer.
