Ranking the Clippers among the other City Edition Jersey

5. LA Clippers

After going with their throwback colors last season, the Clippers City Jerseys this year are seemingly inspired by retro Team USA jerseys. The main color is navy blue, something that has never been on LAC jerseys. The Big “LA” text in the center combined with the stars on the sides make this one of the best Clippers jersey of all time.

4. Cleveland Cavaliers

A lot of people seem to be against these jersey, but I can’t see why. The orange and blue are reminiscent of a different era of Cavaliers basketball. The separation line of the two colors is wavy and give Cleveland’s jersey a feel that no other City Jerseys have.

3. Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are honoring their past and when they had their “Mecca” court. The two shades of yellow with the red combine to look fantastic. Yellow jerseys are almost always a win, and these are no exception.

2. Utah Jazz

This very possibly could’ve been in the top spot, but just missed as it is an exact replica of the Utah Jazz City Jersey from last season. It was the best City Jersey last year, and I’m happy that it is staying around, but to avoid hypocrisy, it must be second.

1. Denver Nuggets

Here is your winner. In an attempt to replicate their uniforms from the 1980’s worn by legend like Fat Lever and Alex English, the Nuggets brought back their design of the Denver skyline with a rainbow in the background. It really pops on a white jersey, and is the best City Jersey of 2018.

Unfortunately, the Clippers don’t have the best City Jersey of the year, but it is still fantastic.

Hopefully they keep it as an alternate for seasons to come while still adding to the repertoire.
