Ranking the Clippers among the other City Edition Jersey
Above Average
14. Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks City Jerseys stood out last year, with their black torso with neon yellow designs and lettering. The white, black, and gold go nice together, and I appreciate that they switched it up this year, but these jerseys are easily forgotten.

13. Philadelphia 76ers
Philadelphia’s Rocky Balboa inspired threads are lacking any front text, but I can’t help but admire these. The gray makes these different from most other jerseys in the NBA, and the red, white, and blue on the shoulder trims really pop.

12. Miami Heat
I have these lower than most people would, but that’s for two reasons. First and foremost, they aren’t as good as last year, which were identical aside from the base color being white instead of black. Second, it’s just too close to last year. Last year’s Miami Heat City Jersey is my favorite jersey of all time, but these feel like they are trying to recreate last years magic, and they just fall short.
11. Houston Rockets
These are the first exceptional jerseys on the list. Last year, many Rockets fans were angry that rather than making a new jersey, the Rockets just reintroduced an older jersey from Chinese New year and dubbed it as their “City Edition.” Instead of Chinese characters on a Rockets base jersey, this years has a deep red base with subtle cloud designs and a dark shade of vanilla on the collar. It isn’t too different from last year’s City Jersey, but it looks beautiful.

10. Toronto Raptors
The Raptors went with the “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” strategy. Last year’s had a golden arrow point up on a black base with text that read “North.” This year, they simply replaced the black with white. Kawhi Leonard will look great in these before he leaves to join the LA Clippers next summer.
