Nearly two years removed from the Lob City LA Clippers Era, its time to look back at the roster of its final season and see where the players are today.
The LA Clippers are a completely different team than it was just two years ago. The only player remaining is Luc Mbah a Moute, and he is returning from a one-season absence where he played with the Houston Rockets. Let’s catch up with the former Clippers who were present for the teams best times.
Alan Anderson (Shooting Guard)
Alan Anderson served his one and only season as a Clipper in 2016-2017. He contributed 2.9 points in 10.3 minutes of play per game. After that season, Anderson retired, ending his eight-year NBA career. Since then, Anderson has joined Ice Cube’s BIG3 league, a three-on-three half-court basketball league for retired NBA players. He is currently a member of the Killer 3’s, who missed the BIG3 playoffs last season.
Brandon Bass (Power Forward)
Like Alan Anderson, Brandon Bass played only one season for the Clippers, and it was the final year of his NBA career. In the 2016-2017 season he averaged 5.6 points in 11.1 minutes per game. He played a bigger role during the regular season when Blake Griffin was injured. After that season, Bass didn’t sign with another NBA team, and instead signed a one-year contract with a Chinese basketball club.
