Tobias Harris looks like a superstar

As each game comes and goes, Tobias Harris begins to look more and more like a superstar on this LA Clippers team.

When he first came to Los Angeles via the Blake Griffin trade, fans knew they were getting an above-average scorer and below-average defender — and that was about the extent.

Now, Clippers fans will be the first to tell you just how good Harris is, and about all the things he can do, as well as the things he’s doing better with LA.

Last night, Harris recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds in a little under 30 minutes of action. That’s his third double-double of the season though six games. And while that might not seem all that significant at first, it will once you find that Harris only had three double-doubles all last season, through 80 games.

Now, part of this is because he was playing with Andre Drummond in Detroit, a big who has led the league in rebounds three times and has recorded a top-two rebound percentage in each of the last six seasons.

Still though, Harris looks like a much more capable rebounder than before. In fact, he looks like a much more capable player overall, and is developing into the leader of this team.

Look for Harris to continue making contributions on Tuesday, when the LA Clippers travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder.
