After back-to-back home wins, the Los Angeles Clippers hit the road as they look to stay hot versus the New Orleans Pelicans.

After starting the season 2-1 at home, the Los Angeles Clippers are hitting the road. The first stop of their brief two-game road trip will be in New Orleans where they will face Anthony Davis and the Pelicans.

The Clippers managed to escape with a victory against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, but this came after Houston played the Lakers the night before, which included a fight leading to the suspension of Chris Paul.

Facing yet another tough Western Conference foe, the Clippers will have to bring their best game, especially considering the Pelicans have had three days rest. New Orleans has looked unstoppable even at just 2-0, scoring 131 points in their opener against the Rockets and 149 against the Sacramento Kings.

Anthony Davis has played at an MVP level in both games, scoring 32 and 25 points respectively. He’s also averaging 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals in the two games. The scary thing? These numbers, although a super small sample size, are likely sustainable for the 25-year-old.

Meanwhile for the Clippers, the offense has come from a scoring by committee. Tobias Harris has led the way with 22.7 points per game with Danilo Gallinari close behind at 20.7. The rest of the starting unit may not score, but the bench unit of Lou Williams, Boban Marjanovic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have been able to put up points.

It will be an all hands on deck type of evening for LA, so let’s take a look at three things to watch for tonight in The Big Easy.
