Many expected Milos Teodosic to be signed with a different franchise right now, myself included. Largely in part of his nagging injuries and the Clippers’ point guard depth, the thought of Teodosic being traded ahead of Monday’s deadline wasn’t outlandish. But instead, LA parted ways with Jawun Evans, and Teodosic will maintain his roster spot.

Figuring out where Teodosic will play for LA is a bit of a challenge. Limited to just one position, it seems the 31-year-old guard will be stuck behind Gilgeous-Alexander on the third unit. It’s a bit disappointing, since the former EuroLeague MVP saw some success as a starter last season, but the Clippers must prioritize winning and Gilgeous-Alexander’s development over Teodosic’s minutes.

Still, Teodosic brings incredible vision to the LA Clippers. He pulled off some of the most ridiculous passes we’ve ever seen last season, and it seemed as though he was just getting started.

Like Scott, Teodosic can still help buff out LA’s guard depth. And if any teams come calling, he could also be a trade asset for a team in need of a solid point guard.
