The Los Angeles Clippers Montrezl Harrell will look to make 2018-19 the breakout season of his career after showing signs last season.

It is almost time for the regular season. With just a little over a week left until the Clippers tip off their regular season, we take a look at Montrezl Harrell. Harrell, fresh off of signing a new contract, will look to have a breakout season for the Clippers.

The 24-year-old made a name for himself last season while coming off the bench for the team, but has given himself the lofty goal of winning the Most Improved Player Award this season.

While it is a lofty goal for him, Harrell should see an uptick in usage off the bench and will play a big part in the team’s playoff push. As part of the team’s bench unit, he will get a lot of opportunities to score. He spent the summer working on his game, even appearing at Rico Hines’ UCLA Run.

Last season after coming over as a part of the Chris Paul trade, Harrell surprised everyone with his energy off the bench that endeared him to Clippers fans everywhere. One of his best outings came in March against the New Orleans Pelicans where he scored 26 points.

On the year, Harrell was able to put up a career high in points, rebounds, blocks and steals. He averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 0.5 steals. He finished third in the league for field goal percentage, shooting 63.5%.

Need a full breakdown of Harrell? Look no further. We will go over his stats from last year and give a breakdown of what we expect out of Trezz for the Clips this season.
