The 2019 NBA free agency pool is full of top-tier players. Here are five that the LA Clippers should take a look at next summer.

The LA Clippers have one of the best free agent situations that fans and executives could ever hope for.

The Clippers aren’t projected to have enough space to sign one max player next summer, but rather two. And after looking at the list of names which that may be available next July, one can only dream of which two the organization could potentially land.

Now, it’s important that before getting too deep into this, it’s made clear that LA may only go after one max-level free agent. The other player in this scenario is Tobias Harris, who could earn a maximum extension with his play this season.

Harris was as productive as ever last season in Los Angeles, averaging over 19 points and six rebounds per game. He also connected on an efficient 41 percent of three-point attempts, and his defense looked better than in years past.

The combo forward still has room to improve, and at 26, he seems more than capable of doing so. However, if it’s more of the same from Harris, a max deal seems unlikely.

That’s where the next five (actually six, because we’re generous) names come into play. Each could vastly improve LA’s roster, and could be the pieces necessary to begin competing for the franchise’s first title.
