Before the Los Angeles Clippers season officially gets under way, we remind you of everything happening around the franchise.

Excitement, anticipation and dire waiting are just some of the adjectives describing how NBA fans feel right now, more specifically Los Angeles Clipper fans. It seems like a real NBA game is long overdue. In less than two weeks, we will get our first taste of NBA regular season action when the Clippers open up the season against the Denver Nuggets.

Roster Construction

The construction of the Clippers roster this off-season consisted largely through Jerry West’s input. Successfully clearing two max free-agent spots for the 2019 season was a short-term and long-term fix. Not only was Jerry West a major factor in the Clippers roster this year and future development of the franchise, Lawrence Frank with the rest of the Clippers head office took charge in shaping this organization for success. Arguably the most significant move this summer for the Clippers were their draft picks. Procuring 11th pick, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, from the Charlotte Hornets through trade for Miles Bridges could give the Clippers the future guard they have needed. In addition, acquiring Jerome Robinson with the 13th pick is the variable to this Los Angeles Clippers roster. As of late, Robinson is looking better and better in his confidence on the court; his role as a Clipper is going to be just as important as every other talented member.

Tickets

This year, Clippers’ tickets are priced lower than Lakers’ tickets for both pre-season and regular season. In fact, there is approximately a 1150% influx in the minimal price (data from stubhub tickets (fluctuating)). Clippers tickets started at six dollars for their first pre-season game. Laker tickets started at sixty-nine dollars. This might be more recognized as the “LeBron James” effect.

Clipper fans are not surprised. We have been the younger brother of the two Los Angeles NBA franchises. Underrated, underestimated and hated, the Clippers are ready to face the challenge of next season; to conquer LA, the ultimate challenge, defeating the King. This is the rivalry that will soon be in the history books. It might not fully commence this season but next season the Clippers will be prepared with two stars possibly leading the way.

The Clippers are about to begin their own NBA season, light the fire that was never ignited the past years. Through this next-season- while enormously underrated- the Clippers are trying to spread a wild fire. Clipper Nation needs to be present during the regular season games; we’re not asking for sold out crowds every night but the lamentation of every fan creating a playoff atmosphere. With the tickets prices down, Clipper fans need to out buy Laker fans. Clipper Nation supports this team through the highs and lows, that’s why we have one of the most positive passionate fan-base in the game of basketball.
