The Los Angeles Clippers will host their 2018-19 media day today amid trade rumors surrounding Jimmy Butler.

Can you feel it? The NBA season is here! Today, the Los Angeles Clippers, among most other teams in the league, will host their 2018-19 media day.

This will be the first time we see the whole gang together. Rookies Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson will be the focus after both being taken in the lottery this summer.

Despite all the pictures being taken, interviews and everything else going on, there may be an ominous undertone. With rumors that any Jimmy Butler deal will likely be done early this week, it is possible that guys could be on there way out.

Several teams have emerged as contenders for Butler, but the Clippers are still reportedly right in the mix.

Still, with nothing imminent, media day will be a good time to step back and appreciate the team the Clippers’ front office has put together. Although this group might not be a championship contender, the team features a variety of players who will compete night in and out.

Newcomers Marcin Gortat, Mike Scott, Luc Mbah a Moute and the aforementioned rookies all look to play key parts in the Clippers season.

Fan favorites Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic, along with Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, are looking to have a big season after finishing last year just outside of the playoffs.

Unfortunately for us fans, it doesn’t look like we can watch this year’s media day. As of this writing, the Clippers are one of eight teams who currently do not have any plans to livestream their media day.

As the day goes on though, things will likely hit both the team’s official Facebook and Twitter, so check back there often.

As always, check back on here and our Twitter as we keep you in the know about all things related to your Los Angeles Clippers and join us in getting ready for this 2018-19 season!
