2. Golden State Warriors

Prior to last season, the last regular season victory the Clippers had on long standing rivals Golden State was in 2014. Even though we saw game after game of Clipper teams match up well on paper against the NBA champion Warriors, as the fourth quarter rolled around the rout started to look common place.

This was until Lou Williams of the LA Clippers exploded for a 50 point outburst ending the streak during the Clippers visit to Oracle arena during the 2017-18 season.

Williams gave Clipper fans a short lived but memorable game in the  rivalry that began when the Clippers won a hard fought seven game series over Golden State in the 2013-14 season.

No matter the result, whenever the Clippers and the Warriors face off it has been must see TV and with the history these franchises shared over the past few years we can hope for more of the same.

The Clippers lost the season series to the defending champions last year. With their sole win against the Warriors on the road the season series stood at a 1-3 deficit. The stars that provided the Clippers big moments in the past against the Warriors might be gone but the rivalry lives on.
