3. Houston Rockets

Arguably the best season series from the 2017-18 season featured the Houston Rockets and former Clipper Chris Paul. After Paul’s departure from the Clippers to play alongside James Harden the Rockets and the Clippers gave us an exciting narrative both on and off the court.

Tempers flared as Chris Paul and Blake Griffin faced each other after being the Clippers superstar tandem for nearly seven years.

After a turmoil fueled Clippers win, antics ensued as the Houston players tried to obtain access to the Clipper locker room after Rocket Trevor Ariza and  Austin Rivers exchanged choice words.

This year’s match-up might lack the personal element from last year due to the departure of Griffin and Rivers. However, Lou Williams and the new look Clippers team seek to prove doubters wrong.

The Clippers split the season series with the Houston Rockets in 2017-18 going 2-2. Both rosters having undergone changes as the rockets add Carmelo Anthony while the Clippers added former Rocket Luc Mbah a Moute and Marcin Gortat at center. Clipper fans should definitely look forward towards this matchup.
