With the release of the 2018-19 NBA schedule, we can take a look at the top five series Los Angeles Clippers fans should  mark on their calendars.

While every NBA team plays each other at least twice during the season, some series mean more than others. Today, we will take a look at the top five series the Los Angeles Clippers will play in during the 2018-19 season.

Let’s get into it with the first series.

5. Dallas Mavericks

The Clippers and the Mavericks might not have the most on court drama during recent years. Off the court incidents on the other hand, make this series one to watch during the 2018-19 season.

With DeAndre Jordan verbally committing to the Mavericks, it required the 2015 Clippers entourage to pay him a visit at home to convince the center to re-sign.

DeAndre ended up spurning his hometown suitors in Dallas and gave NBA twitter a night to remember.

With Jordan’s departure during the 2018 free agency period to Dallas as the Clippers longest tenured player, it sets an interesting pretense to the Clippers/Mavericks series for the season.

During the 2017-18 season, the Clippers came away with the season series against a bottom of the barrel Mavericks roster winning the series 2-1. This year might prove to be very different as the Mavericks young rookie Luka Doncic along with aging superstar Dirk Nowitzki and former Clipper DeAndre Jordan look to change the course of the Dallas based basketball team.
