Goal #3 : Make the All-Star Team or win Most Improved Player Award

Yes, I know it may seem a bit of a reach with Tobias Harris making the All-Star Team in the stacked Western Conference, but, just take a look at some names who made it last year that we didn’t expect.

Names include Victor Oladipo, Al Horford and Goran Dragic. Harris definitely has the potential and it-factor to prove he is a deserving All-Star come February.

In the West, this is definitely a more lofty goal, especially with no true center spot for the All-Star team. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Anthony Davis are essentially shoe-ins, so that doesn’t leave many spots open for Harris to slide in.

Should he not make the All-Star Roster, his name will be in the discussion for the Most Improved Player Award. This year is a big year for Tobias as he is entering the final year of his contract, so he will have to play well to both help the team and to secure his next contract.

Should Tobias succeed with at least 2 out of the 3 goals set today, he may in fact end up with that financial security he has been seeking.
