LOS ANGELES, CA - OCTOBER 24: Patrick Beverley /

After suffering a season-ending knee injury last season, LA Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley is finally back in action.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley dealt with a haunting right knee injury last season starting in early November 2017. He underwent right knee surgery back in November, which left him out indefinitely for the rest of the 2017-2018 NBA Season. However, Beverley’s extreme work ethic has propelled him to a speedy recovery.

Sam Mitchell III exclusively captures Patrick Beverley working out in one of his recent sessions. His right knee soreness seems to have vanished, as he shows off some aggression and speed during the workout.

Showcased in the workout video, post-surgery Bev shows no signs of weakness in his right knee. He is driving to the basket with ease. His offensive game is improving, he is back like he never left. There is virtually no indication of a right knee injury.

Furthermore, Bev’s offensive improvement is an essential part of this Clippers roster. We are beginning to see shadows of the old Pat Bev. There will be more minutes to be played for Beverley, and he will be a top target for the Clippers to get back on the court.

Beverley’s defensive capability is non-disputable. The former NBA All-Defensive First Team and 2017 Hustle of the Year award winner is one of the most talented defensive players in the game. He averaged 1.7 steals per game for the Clippers in his short 2017-2018 season. He is one of the most feared defensive players in the League.

Above all, his tenacious attitude toward his teammates and intensity every night brings the team to the next level. He is the monumental breakthrough the Clippers needed. Ever since Chris Paul was traded to the Rockets, Bev has really stepped up into a role as a leader. Beverley’s evolution on the Clippers as a offensive threat is happening. Every team in the league should be scared to face the Clippers now that he’s back.

Glad to have you back Bev.
