Game 41: LA Clippers @ Denver Nuggets

6 PM PST/9 PM EST on Thursday, January 10th

The Denver Nuggets have quietly built together a strong off-season this summer. They retained Star Center Nikola Jokic as well as the services of veteran swingman Will Barton.

They took a risk with the selection of Michael Porter Jr. (14th Pick) but if he pans out and has no issues with his back down the line then this will turn out to be a steal. To backup Jamal Murray, they added veteran Point Guard Isaiah Thomas, who can help contribute in a big way.

Overall, this game can go both ways, either it stays close through the fourth or the Nuggets have the chance to blow it open with the advantage of playing in High Altitude.

The Clips can help themselves big time with a win over a conference opponent, but on this night I believe the Nuggets will take of home court and win this one.
