Game 51: Atlanta Hawks vs LA Clippers
7:30 PM PST/10:30 PM EST on Monday, January 28th
With Carmelo Anthony’s tenure a Hawk officially over, the Hawks enter this year heading for a complete rebuild. They hired ex-76ers assistant Lloyd Pierce to be Head Coach as well as handing the keys over to No.5 Overall Pick Trae Young.
Young should be an exciting addition for Atlanta with his game being compared heavily to Golden State Warriors Guard Stephen Curry. This will be a battle between the two rookie point guards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Trae Young.
The Hawks will give their best effort night in and night out but as of now they lack the depth and experience to be able to compete for one of the top 8 seeds in the East. They will still be an exciting team to watch.
The Clippers will be the ore solid team of the night and they cannot sleep on the Hawks and give them confidence. The Clips will manage to start their 3 Game Home-stand with a 2-0 Record.
