Game 25: LA Clippers vs. Miami Heat
Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 PM
Last season: Heat swept series 2-0
Yet another playoff team that LA will face in the month of December, the Miami Heat pose a formidable threat to the Clippers.
The Heat do not have any notable additions or subtractions to the roster due to very little cap space and no draft picks this year. Additionally, they could not find a worthwhile trade for Hassan Whiteside. Looking at things glass half-full for Miami, they brought back a team that logged 44 wins last year. Despite being swept in the series last year, expect the Clippers, who won 42 games last year, to fair well against the Heat.
The Clippers have the advantage with regards to the schedule. They will be heading into this matchup with two days of rest while the Heat will be playing their second game of a back-to-back while on a six-game road trip.
Prediction: The Clippers schedule-advantage pushes them over the hump and helps them come away with a hard-fought win.
