Game 23: LA Clippers at New Orleans Pelicans

Monday, December 3 at 5:00 PM

Last season: Pelicans won series 3-1

The key departures on the Pelicans roster this offseason were DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo. Key additions include Julius Randle. The Pelicans were a monster in the playoffs last season and they nearly swept us in the regular season.

Our front court will have its work cut out for them. Marcin Gortat, Montrezl Harrell, Tobias Harris and Mike Scott will definitely need to be all-in for this game. We all know the Pelicans’ Anthony Davis is a superstar and will be a challenge to contain, but don’t sleep on Randle.

Take note that both the Clippers and Pelicans will be playing their second game of a back-to-back. The Clippers will be playing both games on the road. The Pelicans will be playing the first game of their back-to-back on the road and then facing the Clippers at home.

Prediction: The match up will be interesting. I expect the Pelicans to come away with the close win.
