Game 36: LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs

Saturday, December 29 at 7:30 PM

Last season: Spurs won series 2-1

As mentioned in the slide earlier, San Antonio is out with their Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and in with superstar DeMar DeRozan.

Look forward to the rookie matchup at shooting guard between our Jerome Robinson and San Antonio’s Lonnie Walker IV.

Neither team will have a rest advantage in this matchup. The Clippers play the Lakers the night before and the Spurs play the Nuggets as part of a back-to-back on the road. Expect a slower game from the two teams, but not a sloppy one. These two teams have high-motors and are extremely hard working.

Prediciton: The Spurs will overpower the Clippers and come away with the win. LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan will overpower Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley. Look forward to an entertaining, but heart-breaking game Clippers fans.

Final Predicted December Record: 8-5

Based on our Clipperholics past predictions, the Clippers will sit at 19-15. Depending on the success of the other Western teams, this is not a bad place for LA to be in order to make a playoff push. They must pick up the easier wins on the back-to-backs this month.

The blue-collar hard-working mentality this team is developing needs to present in every game. LA will face challenging teams this month, but should they pull off a winning record in December, it will put them in a comfortable position in the Western Conference playoff hunt.
