Game 34: LA Clippers vs Sacramento Kings

Wednesday, December 26 at 7:30 PM

Last season: Clippers swept series 4-0

The Sacramento Kings have struggled mightily against the Los Angeles Clippers in recent years. In the past eight seasons the Kings have a 5-25 record against the Clips. I don’t expect LA will begin dropping games to their division rival.

Key additions for Sacramento include Marvin Bagley III via the draft who should boost their offense immediately. Also, Ben McLemore and Yogi Ferrell via trade. Their only notable subtraction is Garrett Temple.

Sacramento has an abundance of young talent, but in my opinion they still need reliable veterans who have tasted success in order to go to the next level. Patrick Beverly will have his hands full subduing the lightning-fast De’Aaron Fox.

Neither team enters this matchup with a rest advantage. LA and Sacramento’s last game before this is on Sunday the 23rd.

Prediction: The Clippers will continue their dominance against the Kings with a win here.
