Game 33: LA Clippers at Golden State Warriors

Sunday, December 23 at 5:30 PM

Last season: Warriors won series 3-1

Well, this past offseason, the NBA’s super team got even more super. As if anyone expected it to happen.

The massive addition for Golden State is DeMarcus Cousins. Boogie is now a Warrior. The notable subtractions are Zaza Pachulia, JaVale McGee, and Nick “Swaggy P” Young.

LA will need more than Lou Williams dropping 50-points in order to topple the Warriors in this matchup.

50 points in a game is a career high for Sweet Lou, and amazing for any player to accomplish. However, it should be noted that this 50-piece came against a Golden State squad that was without Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Neither LA nor Golden State has a schedule advantage in this match up. The Clippers face the Denver Nuggets the night before and the Warriors face the Dallas Mavericks the night before.

Prediction: Warriors take the win in a competitive game that could very well go down to the wire. Don’t expect the Clippers to just give the Warriors this game.
