Game 14: LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs

Thursday, November 15 at 7:30 PM (TNT)

Last season: Spurs won series 2-1

Unless your father was born this summer, these definitely aren’t his San Antonio Spurs. Gone are the days of Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. Kawhi Leonard is gone. Manu Ginobili still isn’t.

Instead, it’s officially the DeMar DeRozan-LaMarcus Aldridge-Rudy Gay era of Spurs basketball, which only means one thing: DEEP TWO’S GALORE!

Still though, the Spurs will be a fantastic basketball team. There’s just no doubting Gregg Popovich. He’ll find a way to make it all work, and the Spurs will be back in the playoffs for the 22nd consecutive season.

The Clippers do matchup rather nicely with this Spurs team, however. Dejounte Murray is no match for Beverley’s defense, and Bradley will contain DeRozan. This one will come down to how productive Aldridge can be — and given he dropped 26.3 points per game against the Clippers last season, it’s safe to assume he’ll play very well.

LA will give the new-look Spurs their all, but San Antonio will prevail.
