Game 13: LA Clippers vs Golden State Warriors

Last season: Warriors won series 3-1

This time around, it’s probably going to take more than a 50-piece from Sweet Lou to topple the Warriors. Boban Marjanovic might need to drop 50 of his own to give the Clippers a chance.

Surely by now you’ve heard about the Warriors’ signing of DeMarcus Cousins, big man extraordinaire. Chances are he won’t be playing this early in the season due to an injury he suffered last season, but the Clippers will also be playing without DJ, so there’s that.

There’s really no way to spin this. The Warriors are the most talented team in the NBA, inside and out, and they’ll come away victorious in most of their games this season. The Clippers are bound to put up a good fight though — that much I can guarantee.

This one will be played at STAPLES, so I’ll go ahead and subtract 10-15 points from Golden State’s final scoring tally.

If my calculations are correct, Warriors win this one by 20.
