Game 20: LA Clippers vs Phoenix Suns

Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 PM

Last season: Clippers won series 4-0

Like the Brooklyn Nets, the Phoenix Suns are finally starting to get things figured out. With the exception of Elie Okobo, this season’s 31st overall pick, the Suns are starting four first round picks, all of which have been made in the last four years.

There’s Okobo, Devin Booker, T.J. Warren, Josh Jackson, and Deandre Ayton. On the bench, there’s also Mikal Bridges, another top-10 pick in this year’s draft.

Young talent aside, the Suns lack experience, which is likely what will keep them from contending for anything this season.

The Clippers could very well struggle against this Suns squad. Booker outmatches Bradley, Warren and Harris are both 20-point per game scorers, Jackson is a very tough defender, and Ayton is a phenom. They certainly won’t go down without a fight, and I’m not sure if the Clippers will win this season series out.

However, in their first meeting, I’ve got LA. By this point, Phoenix will still be figuring things out. Later on though, that might be a different story.
