Los Angeles Clippers 2018-2019 Schedule Breakdown: November
Game 16: LA Clippers at Atlanta Hawks
Monday, November 19 at 4:30 PM
Last season: Clippers won series 2-0
Pat Bev seems to have a thing for testing rookie point guards. There was last season when he made a fool out of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, torturing him in his NBA debut. Beverley held Ball to just three points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Luckily for Beverley, the Hawks have a shiny new prize in Trae Young that he can rough up when the time comes.
The Hawks do have a good thing going these days. John Collins was impressive last season, and should only build upon that this year. Taurean Prince has continued to improve since he was drafted in 2016. They also managed to grab Alex Len this summer, further adding to their depth.
However, unless Young can play like prime Stephen Curry this season, the Hawks won’t be going anywhere.
The Clippers will travel down to Atlanta seeking to avenge their loss to the Nets, and they’ll win handily.
