Los Angeles Clippers vs. Detroit Pistons – January 12, 2019

This one will hurt. Blake Griffin will make his first return to Staples Center to play the Clippers as part of the Detroit Pistons. Fans will likely cheer Blake and there will undoubtedly be a tribute video to honor his eight seasons with the franchise.

No one expected Griffin to be traded during the middle of last season, but after watching how the front office is operating, we have to assume it was the right move. We did already face him last season, albeit in Detroit. Still, it will be odd cheering for the Clips at home while he plays against us.
