3.) A lot to make-up
After the 2017-2018 season, the Clippers all-time record 1562-2326. This shows just how bleak some eras of Clippers basketball has been. If the Clippers were to go 82-0 for the next nine seasons, they still would have a sub .500 win percentage all-time. That surely will not be happening, but with due time, this current rebuild, lead by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jerome Robinson, Tobias Harris, and Montrezl Harrell could lead the Clippers franchise to its first all-time positive record. It’ll certainly be interesting to see.
4.) Not a Marksman
Former Clipper Michael Cage holds a record that no one wants. Cage is the NBA player to have the most three point attempts without one three point make. Over 15 seasons as a pro, he shot 0-25 from deep. That may come off very bad, but do keep in mind that Cage was a center on a below average team in an era when most bigs couldn’t stretch the floor. Had he been a center of today, he may have been groomed to shoot from a young age. Instead, Cage had a decent all-around career and in his best season for the Clips, he averaged 14.5 points and 13 rebounds per game.
