1. Moses Malone
This one hurts… a lot. Moses is a reminder of some of the bonehead decisions that were made in the early ages of the franchise. We acquired him from the Trailblazers for a 1978 first round pick. Had he stayed a Clipper, the three time MVP may have led the team to a championship, but alas, our Buffalo Braves traded him to the Houston Rockets for a 1977 and a 1978 first round picks. Moses played two games as a Brave and went on to win the 1983 NBA Title with Dr. Julius Erving. Malone appeared 13 All-Star games and finished his career with many other accolades. Malone is looked at as one of the top six centers of all time and unfortunately passed away in 2015.
