Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Last year: N/A
Prediction: 74 overall
Rookies are always hard to predict and they often start a little on the low end. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with all his physical tools is especially hard to rate. He doesn’t quite have a good shot yet, but his court awareness and driving ability already looked great in Summer League. His steal ability should also start off pretty high, so he’ll be a solid bench point guard in 2k. Hopefully he can break out and we’ll see a rise out of him both in-game and in real life.
Jerome Robinson
Last year: N/A
Prediction: 71 overall
Jerome Robinson will get the lower rating of the two Clippers’ rookies and may even be lower rated than players picked after him in the NBA Draft. Jerome has great scoring abilities, but may get average physical scores and below average defensive ones. Despite the low rankings though, as long as his shot release is quick in-game, he will be fun to use.
