This will be the first match-up between the two teams this summer. The Clippers are coming off of a 89-74 win yesterday against the Washington Wizards which saw Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson both have solid games. SGA scored 17 points on 50% shooting and added in 6 dimes while Robinson added 15 points.
The real surprise of the afternoon was Reggie Upshaw, a forward out of Middle Tennessee, who led the team in scoring with 24 points. We can’t rely on that type of outburst again, so if the Clippers want to advance against the undefeated Lakers, they’ll need everyone to contribute.
