With the recent signings of Mike Scott and Luc Mbah a Moute the Los Angeles Clippers technically have 18 players on their roster and a few directions they can go with them.

The Los Angeles Clippers have 18 players on their roster. Of these, 14 contracts are fully guaranteed and three are partially guaranteed contracts (Patrick Beverley, C.J. Williams, and Milos Teodosic). The Clippers still need to decide on moves for free agents Montrezl Harrell and Tyrone Wallace, who have only been given qualifying offers.

There have been a few newly acquired players this summer in Marcin Gortat, Mike Scott and Luc Mbah a Moute. Also, the team drafted rookies Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jerome Robinson and signed Angel Delgado two a two-way contract.

More moves will have to be made by the front office, even though the roster is full. The question here is with all these assets, what or when will a deal be made around them? Do they trade several pieces for a star? Do they just cut players who don’t have guaranteed deals?

A roster with this many players shows that it is very possible the Clippers are looking to package a few assets in a deal, especially since there are currently way too many guards on the roster.
