Clippers: Three storylines to watch for Summer League versus Wizards
Big game for the guards
Both Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson have looked good at times during Summer League, but they haven’t both had a big game on the same day.
Through three games, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging a team-high in points, assists and steals with 19.7, 3.3 and 2.0 respectively.
Robinson, who played only two of the three games, is averaging 13.0 points per game on 48% shooting. He’s taken a bit of a backseat to Sindarius Thornwell, which is expected considering Thornwell already has a full year of NBA experience under his belt.
With Troy Brown lining up opposed to them, this game might be a challenge. It would be the perfect time for the two rookie guards to show up and lead the team to the next round of the Summer League tournament.
