Clippers: Three storylines to watch for Summer League versus Wizards

Draft Surprises

The Clippers and Wizards are somewhat connected by this years draft. Prior to draft night, there was somewhat of an expectation that the Clippers would take Troy Brown Jr. and the Wizards would grab Robert Williams. The Clippers had worked out Troy Brown and seemed impressed with him.

However, the Clippers surprised many people by instead taking Jerome Robinson with the 13th overall pick in the draft. Troy Brown instead fell to the Wizards and Robert Williams fell late into the first round to the Boston Celtics.

Both teams seem happy with who they took, but it’s obviously way too early to judge if the Clippers made the right decision or not.
