No. 47 Jaylen Johnson, F, Windy City Bulls

2017-2018 Stats: 11.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists

Forward Jaylen Johnson is among the youngest players on this roster. After going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, Johnson was picked up by the G-League’s Windy City Bulls. There, the 6-9 wing had an impressive season.

Johnson made an impressive transformation from Louisville to Windy City — in college, Johnson was attempting less than one three per game, and converting them at minuscule rates. However, at the G-League level, Johnson has gotten to the level at which he’s attempting nearly three per game, and knocking down just under 30% of them.

He still has a ways to go in that regard, but he’s solid around the rest of the floor already. He’s a gifted passer, strong rebounder, and is good at creating open looks for himself.

Whether or not he can increase his deep-ball ability will be the kicker. He’s young enough to the point where that should happen quickly, and smart enough as well.
