CANTON, OH – NOVEMBER 25: Thomas Wimbush #20

No. 18 Thomas Wimbush, G, Long Island Nets

2017-2018 Stats: 8.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists

If there’s one player we’d most like to see earn a two-way deal from the LA Clippers, it’s Thomas Wimbush. The 6-7 shooting guard possesses extreme length and agility, and would make the perfect two-way player for Jerry West‘s system.

Wimbush’s numbers weren’t all that impressive with the Brooklyn Nets’ G-League affiliate, but it’s his tools and length that are so mesmerizing.

At just 24, Wimbush likely has a lot of untapped potential, and should impress with the Clippers’ Summer League team. Imagining a guard combo of he and Gilgeous-Alexander just sounds scary long.

He needs to work on his offensive game to ensure he can land a contract — but if he does, he’s one to watch for.
